The Shootist Leather Holster, Western holster, fast draw holster, lined

The Shootist western style holster. Made after the holster used by John Wayne in the 1978 movie The Shootist. The holster is wet formed to the pistol, but doesn't grip when turned upside down(zero retention). It has a flared mouth to allow easy reholstering, and 2 studs to keep the holster from lifting when you draw. The holster has an open toe. You can take the holster apart for cleaning and conditioning.. I will need to know the barrel length, side and cant. The one shown has a 5.5 inch barrel. The holster shown is a straight or nuetral cant model, but any angle is available. Made to fit 2 1/4 inch belt. If you want the holster to fit a different size, let me know in the comments. This listing is for one holster. Available in 3 colours. You can choose lined or unlined. Lining adds to the look and feel, but unlined is more affordable. Edge sewing comes either way.

The pull down menu lists all the revolvers I can make holsters for at this time. Most of the revolvers listed are named by their original models but any clones or reproductions of them will also fit. An example would be the 1873 Colt SAA and the Uberti Cattleman are interchangeable from a holster standpoint.
